In this tutorial, we'll use Lubuntu, which is known for its low system requirements and user-friendly interface.
I just put a bunch of old hard drives in there and treat them as 2 larger mirrored volumes. In this way, I can use the server to store and backup all non-system files for all my other servers and gaming/work computer in one central location, all accessible to each other.
