Ensuring high-quality care is central to our mission in serving the children and families of the Central Valley and we’re proud to showcase our best-in-class outcomes.

  6. Valley Children’s has once again been ranked as a Top Children’s Hospital by The Leapfrog Group for our exceptional achievements in patient safety and quality of care. Only eight children’s hospitals in the U.S. received this honor, putting Valley Children’s in the top 3% in the country for quality and safe care.

  7. Valley Children’s Patient Volume. In 2020, Valley Children’s had 10,727 inpatient admissions, 84,720 Emergency Department visits, and 256,544 hospital-based outpatient specialty care center, regional specialty care center, primary care center, and urgent care center visits.
