23 Ιουλ 2020 · In answer to what a Tucker vise is worth, and why so much. If it sells in the wild at the Bay, that is what it seems to be worth. Seller doesn't mention the shape those 2 were in, but NIB unused is hard to top.
The Tucker vise is made primarily of ZA-12 material which is stronger than cast iron, less brittle and much lighter. The vise jaws are 8" x 13" and open 12". The vise weighs 50 lbs. One of the handy features of the Tucker vise is the automatic opening. This is by either the top-release bar or by foot pedal.

20 Σεπ 2024 · If you know this vise, you know it's value. Two vises NIB sold on eBay for $2800 and $2300 respectively. Two used vises sold for $1700 shipping included and $1650 + freight.
8 Δεκ 2020 · There's a Veritas Tucker vise listed on Ebay. The seller, who stated that he got it in an abandoned storage compartment sale, opening the bidding at a penny under a thousand dollars. The bid opens in a couple of days, so no one has responded yet.
25 Μαΐ 2022 · Could it be a Tucker vise? It was. I bid on it, and was prepared to go high. My winning bid was $60. I picked it up today, expecting some parts missing, like the stanchion bar holder underside piece or the bench clamp mount.
30 Δεκ 2022 · Last year I advertised a new in box Tucker vise but didn't sell it. I was asking $2000.00 which seemed in line with info I could find. I am offering it again, this time for $1500.00 plus shipping. I am in my 80's and trying to down size and sell some of my tools.
