Basic rolls are simple - whenever a character wants to accomplish something that is difficult and the outcome is uncertain, add one character attribute (Strength, Composure, etc) to one character skill3 (Drive, Larceny, etc.), roll that many dice and count all that come up 6 or more: this is the number of successes.
