A bench power supply allows us to adjust the voltage and current on the output, to be able to power the circuits we are working on. The power supply I built has the ability to adjust the voltage from 0 to 36V DC quite accurately, and it also allows us to limit the output current.
With this homemade variable Power Supply unit, you can set a specific voltage (0-36V) and current limit (0-5A) for that circuit you want to power. The device even has some common fixed voltage outputs at the front as well.

13 Νοε 2015 · I want to build a bench power supply for my LAB that will provide a variable DC supply at about 100mA from a 240v ac supply from my bench isolation transformer. The reason for this supply is to test valve amp projects before building the final circuit.
