A good return on your money imo. You may be pleasantly surprised if you check their website and check weights... Velocity makes some damn fine rims and wheels. I have a set of wheels on my Ogre with velocity Blunt 35 rims in 29”. They have made tough wheels that seal up nicely for tubeless.
These wheels never once went out of true in five years: even when the rim cracks appeared. Weakness: I have ridden a set of A23s for about five years, swapping them out for Ksyriums when I want a faster, more responsive ride.

In doing so, I've closely inspected each part I've used--rims, hubs, spokes, nipples--and seen differences in build quality and attention to detail.
31 Μαρ 2014 · #1 · Mar 31, 2014. Just received a pair of the Aileron rims direct from Velocity for use on my gravel/road/adventure bike. A very good looking rim. Nice shape. Matte black ano with subtle graphics. Claimed ERD is accurate. Weight just 4g over claimed.
