Orphanages. We work with orphanages in almost every region of Ukraine. Though the number of orphanages is slowly declining, there are still so many in operation, especially for children with medical needs and disabilities. The orphanages are arranged by region below, and list the contact information and needs of each orphanage.

International donors bear responsibility for helping Ukraine perpetuate its system of segregating children. A new World Bank program dedicated to helping reform Ukraine’s orphanage system discriminates against children with disabilities and rebuilds institutions for this population.
