Over the same time period, the violent victimization rate fell for persons who identified as white, black, Hispanic, or another race (includes American Indian or Alaska Native or persons of two or more races). Most violent incidents against white (69%) and black (66%) victims were committed by an ofender of the same race or ethnicity as the victim.
