Originating in Muscle Shoals, Alabama, BoomBox has released numerous studio albums, starting in 2005 with Visions of Backbeat. Their second album, Downriverelectric, was released in June 2010, followed by Filling in the Color (2014) and Bits & Pieces (2016).

Review. Track ratings. 1 Issue. Visions of Backbeat [p] 2005 CD. 1 Review. bnoring Feb 22 2014 . The more I listen to BoomBox the more I marvel at their unique sound vision. Something like a cross between a futuristic house / disco groove session with psychedelic guitar jams and hallucinogenic Dylan like stream of conscious lyrics.
