4 Σεπ 2017 · What is a Four Year Plan? The Four Year Plan is required of all undergraduate students who are a declared Com-puter Science major. This plan is meant to assist students in creating an academic plan to assess: Which general education requirements are complete and how to incoporate the remaining requirements into their time at UMCP.
Sample four-year and two-year plans are available below. These materials may be downloaded to assist both current and prospective students in planning their education and monitoring their progress to a degree.
The Four Year Plan is required of all undergraduate students who are a declared Computer Science major. This plan is meant to assist students in assessing which outstanding degree requirements (major and general education) have been completed and what requirements are still outstanding.
The CMNS Peer Mentors can assist students with making an individualized 4-year plan. Information and resources for making 4-year plans such as major requirements, curriculum sheets and sample 4-year plan templates are available on the website for each CMNS major.
MATH 111, 140, 220, 221, 240, & STAT 100 count for Fundamental Studies, CORE non-lab science area, and Abstract Thinking Skills (ATS). Math 113 & 115 count for Fundamental Studies and ATS. Only ONE Math and Formal Reasoning Course (MS) can fulfill the CORE Math and Science area.
