This manual is concerned with version 1.6.2 of VOSviewer. The manual is organized as follows. We first introduce the user interface of VOSviewer in Chapter 2, we then explain the file types used by VOSviewer in Chapter 3, and finally we discuss some advanced topics in Chapter 4.
VOSviewer is software for creating, visualizing, and exploring maps based on network data. It can be used to analyze networks of publications, researchers, organizations, keywords, and other types of items connected by links representing relationships like co-authorship or co-occurrence.
