20 Ιουλ 2023 · I am on factory-installed 3.2 and have gotten a few small updates like maps, something related to how We Charge connects to the servers, Games and a revision to have the software version to display as 3.2 instead of 3.2.0, but like anyone else, no major ID software updates.

9 Ιαν 2024 · All of the updates for the ID4 represent big improvements though. I’m curious to see how the pricing goes this yr. Tesla, love them or hate them, are putting on the pressure and the OEMs need to get their butts in gear. It certainly looks like a quantum leap forward.
For the 2024 model year, the ID.4/5 receives an update including a larger 12.9 inch infotainment display with new software, 82 kWh models also get an upgraded APP 550 motor, providing improved power and efficiency at the same time.

11 Οκτ 2023 · Volkswagen is now announcing the details of extensive upgrades to the hardware and software of the ID.4 and ID.5. Customers who order one of these models from now on will receive their vehicles with a new software and infotainment system generation and an improved operating concept.
You by now really expect Volkswagen to know what software is on available? When 3.5 started to roll out on cars the team from Volkswagen that moderates the Volkswagen ID drivers club didn’t even know about it. Just because your car didn’t get delivered with it doesn’t mean it doesn’t exist.
