9 Σεπ 2000 · What is the meaning of Allaah’s name al-Wakeel (the Disposer of Affairs)? Praise be to Allah. Al-Wakeel is al-Hafeez (the Preserver), al-Muheet (the One who encompasses all things). And it was said that it means al-Shaheed (the Witness). He is the Sustainer Who guarantees provision for His slaves and Who protects their interests.
Al-Wakeel Meaning: The Universal Trustee, The Disposer of Affairs, The Trustworthy. Allah سُبْحَٰنَهُۥ وَتَعَٰلَىٰ is Al-Wakeel (in Arabic: ٱلْوَكِيلُ), the one and only who can be trusted with all our affairs. He is the supreme trustee, guardian, and administrator.
In Surah Hud (‘a), Allah (SwT) addresses His Messenger Muhammad (S) saying, “You are only a warner, and Allah is Custodian over all things” (Qur’an, 11:12),

Wakil (Arabic: وكيل, wakīl) is the Arabic word for an advocate, agent, and a trustee. The latter meaning, along with the name Disposer of affairs, is used as one of the names of God in the Qur'an. Al-Wakil is usually considered the 52nd or the 53rd name of God and it is mentioned in Qur'an multiple times (for example 3:173).
