    I enjoyed parts of Warlight, but as with Ondaatje novels, he has an imagist's way of telling the story: he'll give you an image, and you commit it to memory. Plot is more fluid and elusive, and that requires more work on the part of the reader. I'm not sure I was in the right mood for it.
