Shock Video is a series of hour-long documentaries that aired on HBO between 1993 and 2004. They were produced by Fenton Bailey and Randy Barbato through their company World of Wonder . [ 1 ] [ 2 ] The first installment examines the rise and effects of camcorders and video surveillance.
Shock Video 2: The Show Business of Crime and Punishment aired on HBO on July 15, 1995. Like its predecessor, it is an hour-long program and part of the America Undercover series. It is narrated by Peter Thomas, and focuses on video footage used in criminal trials.
Thoroughly enjoyable, but little-seen, series in which Adam and Joe (of Adam and Joe fame) narrate clips from some very odd videos and movies. It's very much a late-night show, as many of the clips aren't suitable for younger people. Some of them aren't even suitable for older people...
I can only find few second clips of other things in the series. Why is it so hard to find? I can find literally everything else from my youth online but these damn specials.
Anyone remember HBO's Shock Video from the 90's/early 00's? Been about 20 years since my family first got HBO (to watch the Sopranos of course) and I was about 11 at the time. So obviously, soon after that I was lucky enough to discover HBO Late Night (good times man).
