Michigan Online connects you to online learning experiences from the University of Michigan. Log into Michigan Online with your University of Michigan uniquename or create a new account using your email address or Google.
U-M Google uses Single Sign On with the U-M Weblogin and Duo for two-factor authentication. This document provides instructions for logging in to your U-M Google account from the web or a mobile device.
Logging In. There are two ways to log in using Weblogin: Log in to any Weblogin resource (such as the MCommunity Directory or Wolverine Access), and you will be directed to the Weblogin page, where you can log in with your uniqname and UMICH (Level-1) password.
Enter Your Username, Password, Mode, Server, and Language to Log In.
To log in to your U-M Google Mail on the web: Go to mail.umich.edu using a web browser. Google Chrome is recommended, but any supported browser should work. Enter your uniqname and UMICH password via U-M Weblogin. (You may need to authenticate using Duo two-factor authentication, too.) You will then be routed to your U-M Google Mail.
Click the Log in to mail.umich.edu link. At the login screen, type your uniqname and UMICH password in the appropriate boxes, then click the Log in button. NOTE: Mail.umich.edu looks for your mail on the ITCS e-mail servers.
