SRP offers multiple time-of-day price plans, so you can create a schedule that works for you and lowers your energy costs. How it works. Save money when you shift your energy use outside of peak hours, Monday through Friday. You’ll get lower energy prices during off-peak hours, plus weekends and holidays , all year long.
During certain hours of the weekday, the TOU and EZ-3 price plans have higher-cost hours, known as on-peak hours. For EZ-3 that’s 3–6 p.m. or 4–7 p.m., and TOU just switched from 2–8 p.m. to 5–9 a.m. and 5–9 p.m.
The SRP Time-of-Use Price Plan offers lower energy prices to customers who can shift their energy use to off-peak hours. On-peak hours are from 2–8 p.m. May through October and from 5–9 a.m. and 5–9 p.m. November through April.
3 Απρ 2020 · As far as the Time-of-Use rates, peak hours during the winter months of November to April are from 5 PM to 9 PM weekdays. From May through October, peak rate hours are from 2 PM to 8 PM weekdays. You pay off-peak rates regardless of the time of day during weekends and holidays.
23 Απρ 2018 · During peak hours, the facility can reduce its use of high-energy-consuming, grid-dependent refrigeration systems and rely on the PCM to maintain temperature stability. During this time, the PCM absorbs 300 times more thermal energy than the food and 85% of all heat infiltration into the freezer.
Here’s how SRP’s Time-of-Day Price Plans work: EZ-3: On the EZ-3 Price Plan, customers limit major appliance use from 3–6 p.m. or 4–7 p.m. on weekdays. Weekend hours and six observed holidays are all off peak or lower-cost hours.
If you’re on one of our time-of-day plans, such as the SRP Time-of-Use Price Plan™ (TOU), pay attention to your peak hours. During peak hours, electricity costs more, so it’s best not to use major appliances during these hours.
