The Laboratory Safety Manual is part of the University’s “Chemical Hygiene Plan” required by the U.S. Department of Labor’s Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) in its “Occupational Exposures to Hazardous Chemicals in Laboratories” Standard (29 CFR 1910.1450).
