27 Φεβ 2022 · Believe it or not, there are references to every single planet (or deity that the planet is named after) in Scripture. And we’re going to find them. So….. in no particular order, here is where Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune, and Pluto are mentioned in Scripture.
During Biblical times, the only planets viewable from the earth were Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter and Saturn. Some of these can be found in Scripture but only by the false gods which were associated with them.

The word planet appears in the KJV version of the Bible one time, and erroneously at that, because the Hebrew word used in 2 Kings 23:5 is actually Strong’s #4208 מַזָּלָה (mazzaloth), which means: constellations. NOT planets!
