The safety of RAID 0 gaming entirely depends on having all the games on Steam, or similar platform that allows you to [re]download any lost file when wanted. I'd avoid keeping my saves on the RAID 0, but as long as it is backed up to steam that is fine.

20 Μαρ 2016 · I would strongly suggest to install a stable and functional version of linux then install steam from within. steamOS has some major MAJOR drawbacks as being a sole OS. Steam fully supports Ubuntu (OS), and Debian (OS), and Gnome (DE). My personal preference would be Ubuntu-Gnome (1st), or Linux Mint (Most Popular for new users).
