You can quickly get water by crouching and right-clicking a water source block or by drinking a bottle of water. However, to avoid the Thirst effect purify the water through smelting or drink a potion.
Water can be purified on a campfire or a furnace: a campfire will purify it by 1 unit, and a furnace by 2 (meaning it will go from Dirty to Acceptable, for instance). The hydration depletion speed is biome-dependent, meaning you will get thirsty more easily in hot or dry biomes, and less so in cold or wet ones.
So I have a lot of options for survival mod so not which to choose. Tough As Nails. Water Source. Survive. Cold Sweat. EnvironmentalZ & Dehydration. Maybe rate them by. How configurable it is (Since some temperature mods are very difficult to use) How unique it compared with the rest.
