How do I transfer my credits? Current Students. Current students who would like to take courses outside Wheaton College for credit must submit a transfer credit approval form before registering at another institution. This form can be found on the Office of the Registrar's forms page.
Please fill out the your student information, as well as the institution you are attending away from GW, the semester of attendance, and the course(s) you are planning to take. Please bring, email, or upload the form to the appropriate GW academic department for faculty approval and an equivalent GW course.
Instructions: Enter the course information as it appears in the university catalog/bulletin at the other institution. Bring a course description and/or syllabus to the appropriate GW department to secure transfer approval for a GW equivalent.
Many Wheaton students complete summer school work or college-level work at other institutions while on leave of absence from Wheaton. The process for earning Wheaton degree credit for this work is outlined on the Application for Transfer Credit Form available in the Office of the Registrar.
The CS Dept will contact you by e-mail if more information is needed regarding your transfer credit request. Incomplete submissions will delay processing time. To contact the CS Dept about your transfer credit form after 5-7 business days, you can email [email protected] .
