16 Φεβ 2015 · At a guess they go to C:\Users\<User>\AppData\Roaming\Apple Computer\iTunes\iPhone Software Updates. I'm not sure you can redirect them to go anywhere else, but you should be able to relocate your device backup folder to reclaim some space on C:
