29 Μαρ 2023 · It seems that iOS update via iTunes requires three different locations on Windows 10: for DMG files: C:\ProgramData\Apple Computer\iTunes\ [device] Temporary Files. for Backup: C:\Users\Admin\AppData\Roaming\Apple Computer\MobileSync\Backup.

Location on Windows XP: Documents and Settings\User\Application Data\Apple Computer\iTunes\iPhone Software Updates. You’ll now see iPhone/iPod/iPad Software Updates file with a .ipsw extension, if present.
29 Μαρ 2019 · Please press Windows key + R simultaneously and type in %appdata% followed by the ENTER key. This should lead you to your AppData\Roaming folder. You should find .ispw files located following "Apple Computer\iTunes\iPhone Software Updates" which are indeed updates for your iPhone.
You can change where your iTunes media files are stored. Important: For best results, don’t change the location of the iTunes folder or the folders inside it. Go to the iTunes app on your PC. Choose Edit > Preferences, click Advanced, click Change, then select a new location for your files.
7 Σεπ 2020 · I've seen a few of these that have posted locations for the *.ipsw files used by Apple iTunes to update your Apple devices but none of them pointed me to my file location. Most say they are located in this location, C:/Users/yourusername/AppData/Roaming/Apple Computer/iTunes/iPod Software Updates
16 Φεβ 2015 · At a guess they go to C:\Users\<User>\AppData\Roaming\Apple Computer\iTunes\iPhone Software Updates. I'm not sure you can redirect them to go anywhere else, but you should be able to relocate your device backup folder to reclaim some space on C: Relocate iOS device backups.
If you install iTunes from the iTunes Download page, you can manually check for updates to iTunes, or set iTunes to check for new versions automatically every week. Go to the iTunes app on your PC. Do one of the following: Manually check for new versions of iTunes: Choose Help > Check for Updates.
