Mayan Clothing for Men. Mayans naturally used different kinds of clothing for men and women. The most essential element of Mayan clothing for men was a kind of breech-clout which was between eight and ten feet long and ten inches wide. This was used as loincloth and wrapped around the waist repeatedly before being passed between the legs.
We work directly with 100 women from 17 weaving co-operations across 6 regions in the western highlands of Guatemala; Sololá, Huehuetenango, Sacatepéquez, Quetzaltenango, Chimaltenango and Quiché.
