13 Απρ 2017 · Black Whirl is a triple (kinda unrealistic) black hole inspired by Black Eyes and Interstellar. Version: 0.980. File Size: 3KB. Current Issues: orbits of black holes are slightly buggy, slight flickering of outer parts of screen, Nepto I is buggy, automatic bulging of the planet, but clouds currently do not bulge with the planet.
Objects that are procedurally generated in Space Engine are aimed to be as realistic as possible. The objects include galaxies, star clusters (open and globular), nebulae and individual stars, containing terrestrial planets and gas giants and moons.
The remains of high-mass stars, neutron stars are best characterized by their immense density. They have a mass of up to 3 solar masses, yet are only a few kilometers in diameter, hence their density.
All known stars and galaxies in the game are there, the rest is randomly generated based on the universe in real life. The names of planets, stars and galaxies tell you if they're real or not; RS at the beginning of the name means randomly generated I believe.
Every planet you encounter in your journey will feature procedural 3D terrain with detailed textures. Everything you see in the sky – stars and galaxies, planets and moons, asteroids and comets, black holes and neutron stars, star clusters and nebulae – are yours to explore at the press of a button.
A science-based Universe simulator, featuring billions upon billions of galaxies, nebulae, stars, and planets, all shown at their full real-world scale. Explore Earth and our neighboring worlds in the Solar System, orbit a black hole in a galaxy billions of light-years away, or visit anything in between seamlessly, with no transitions.
Some neutron stars emit beams of electromagnetic radiation that make them detectable as pulsars, and the discovery of pulsars by Jocelyn Bell Burnell and Antony Hewish in 1967 was the first observational suggestion that neutron stars exist.
