26 Ιουν 2006 · No worries there-Fender makes their own strings in their own factory. Just my opinion here too, but I don't believe you need to spend 40 bucks on a set of strings to get a good sound. Now, if you find your dream set of strings, and they cost that much, there's nothing wrong with that.
Most Fender basses ship with 7250 bass strings, as the medium gauge is perfect for the long scale and the punch you need for rock, blues and more. However, if you are playing a short-scale Mustang Bass, make sure you order short-scale strings.
3 Νοε 2011 · I've noticed that Fender strings are much more strongly attracted to pickups than any other strings I've used. When I am installing or removing them they immediately SNAP to the pickups when they are slack on the bass.

A lot of string companies don’t manufacture their own strings. They’re made by a few bigger companies to specs from the different brands. Not sure who makes fender, lots of rumors of d’addario out there.
