23 Νοε 2010 · The stock issue AK stock can be used but it'll take a little work. You'll have to cut off the original trigger guard, then open up the new hole for the pistol grip nut. It's pretty easy with patience and simple tools. The only question is what to do with the extra holes.
10 Νοε 2011 · The first thing I did to my Saiga 12 was to replace the stock gas knob with the much recommended MD Arms V-Plug. The sock gas plug only has two settings, while the MD Arms model has 5, which allows you to more finely dial in the flow of gas so you can use lower power ammunition in the Saiga 12.
The 580 mm (23 in) version is standard with a traditional rifle stock or with an AK-style separate pistol grip and folding stock (version S for "skladnaya", "folding"). The 430 mm (17 in) version (K for "korotkaya", "short") has an AK-style pistol grip and folding stock.
