Northport Municipal beach is situated along 200’ of Grand Traverse Bay frontage just south of the Marina along Bay Street. There is a sandy beach for swimming, picnic tables, public restrooms and a playground with a volleyball court. It also is the location for the Northport Youth Sailing School.

Sandy beach with some rocks good for rock-collecting and beach-glass searching. Parking is close to the beautiful beach but there are about 12 stairs to maneuver.
