I would personally recommend the cheap af Wii2HDMI converter. Its small and simple, you plug it into the wii, and then plug your HDMI cable into it, its basically just replaces the wii's goofy looking component port with HDMI.

Component to HDMI is better by FAR. Wii2HDMI is cheap garbage. I have the EASYCEL component to HDMI converter and some Monoprice Wii component cables. Even through a relatively cheap capture I don't notice any latency at all.
