The Hyperkin HDMI cable is decent. Almost all of the Wii2HDMI dongles are from the same manufacturer somewhere in China, so don't pay for an expensive one. I went from a Wii2HDMI dongle that died, which worked well enough.
5 Οκτ 2024 · If you do use Wii2HDMI you can enable EDTV and enable progressive scan on all Gamecube games that support it. So, no, composite shouldn't be a bit sharper. Regardless, you're limited to 480p without upscaling and upscaling is overrated, IMHO.
I’m planning to buy a pre-owned wii this summer but my TV only has HDMI. I don’t want higher quality or anything I just want to play it on regular 480p without any lags or any bullshit that’d interrupt my gaming. But do those adapters actually work?
23 Μαΐ 2022 · Pros: Build Quality. I don’t have one of the Chinese ‘Wii to HDMI’ adapters, only pictures. But you can tell that the Wii2HDMI is smaller. Not just in length but also in width. If you plug it in, it takes a little force. Once it’s plugged in, it snugly holds on the back of the Wii.
5 Οκτ 2024 · Every time I see a thread about wii2hdmi on reddit the reviews are usually all the same. Most have some significant issue with it, and some have it worked as advertised. Plus there's more than one release of it which complicates reviews and/or finding one that works adequately.
