But if you go into taskbar's properties and select the option to show smaller icons, the taskbar becomes a little bit smaller (which is great) and there's no room for date to be displayed (which is not great at all).
3 Αυγ 2015 · Windows 10 shows the date in taskbar using the Short Date format. You can include the DoW name in it (by specifying ddd modifier), so in taskbar you will have "Thu, 21.01.2016" as date and don't need 3rd row just for the day of week.
