29 Μαΐ 2013 · I created UEFI bootable USB from the 64 bit Windows 7 ISO image I downloaded from msdn. It still freezes on start-up logo. I can boot and proceed to the installation screen if I use Legacy Mode instead of UEFI.
5 Μαΐ 2012 · METHOD 1 WORKED. I did a clean boot. After I logged in, the Welcome screen was idle for a good minute.
12 Μαρ 2017 · What you really need to do is get into the recovery console of windows 7 again, open the command prompt, and run 'chkdsk C: /r' (the drive letter of C: may have changed as you're booting outside of windows, but it should be ok as recovery console usually uses X: as its default root directory.
24 Ιουν 2016 · I have recently noticed that Windows 7 will freeze during startup, specifically while the Windows Logo is midway from forming. After this occurs, I will usually just have to turn my computer off and then on again. When I do this, Windows will boot up normally with no errors.
21 Αυγ 2019 · 8. I installed Windows 7 in a 3-year-old machine. It installed successfully, took all drivers and running great, but every 5-6 minutes it freezes for a few seconds... 30 seconds to 1 minute, and then it comes back alive. I checked Event Viewer, but nothing matched the frozen timeline.
