The Witchhunter is a pre-made class in The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind and The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion. In both games, Witchhunters serve as adept anti-mage combat artists. The Witchhunter uses various schools of magic and marksmanship to combat foes.
Classes specializing in stealth include Acrobat, Agent, and Thief. Magic-using classes include Mage, Sorcerer, and Witchhunter. Fighter classes include Knight, Barbarian, and Warrior. Some classes cross the traditional styles of gameplay, sampling skills from each of the three archetypes.
Melee/tank summons probably work best for a Ranged squishy Witchhunter (e.g. Clannfear, Dremora, Winged Twilight), though early on Ancestor Ghost is probably a good enough tank, and is suuuuper cheap to cast. Alchemy is definitely useful early as well.
Witches and Witch-men are practitioners (typically female) of hedge-magic known as witchcraft. They tend to gather in covens that vary in faith and practices (see below). Witchcraft is often seen in a negative light, and practitioners are sometimes persecuted by witchhunters, individuals that specialize on rooting out and destroying dark cults ...

Botrir is a Nord barbarian who, like his fellows Hlormar Wine-Sot and Hisin Deep-Raed, ran afoul of a witch and was stripped of his clothing and left in the wilderness. He can be found just southwest of Indoranyon, bemoaning the loss of his prized axe, Widowmaker.
