If you've been wanting to use voice chat in Payday 2 but can't figure it out, I have just the guide for you! (personally this solution worked for me, but I can't always say the same for other people)
28 Ιουν 2015 · If you can get your entire group to set their music to 0 and their voice comms to 100, in the game audio settings, it seems to be a work around. At least it's solved it for a few of us. If one person has their voice at anything but 100 and their music to anything but 0 it remains broken.
So i can't voice chat, yet i do have everything on with settings about voice chat in steam. I do not have speakers connected to my pc, only way i can hear sound and so on is from my headset, i can talk in skype, teamspeak and even voice chat on steam chat.
1 Ιουν 2014 · I've been kicked out of one too many games because the host thinks I don't have voice chat turned on. Any help would be greatly appreciated. FIXED: I had to go to steam settings ---> voice ---> then hit detect devices ---> make sure your recieve and output volumes are correct.

Bug. Every time someone uses chat, all I hear is the sound you get by blowing into your mic really hard. I initially thought that's just what it was, someone blowing into their mic to be an ass, but after multiple instances of everyone doing it, it has to be something on my end.
What does it do? Fixes ALL the CRASHES (including access violation!)
