The Oregon Department of Consumer and Business Services has announced that the Workers' Benefit Fund (WBF) assessment is 2.2 cents per hour worked in 2022, unchanged from 2021. The 2.2 cents-per-hour rate is the employer and worker rate combined.
Rule 0010 adopts a Workers’ Benefit Fund assessment rate of 2.2 cents per hour worked for calendar year 2020, reduced from 2.4 cents in 2019. Rule 0050 implements HB 2087 (2019), which raised the limits for certain civil penalty maximums; references to minimum and maximum dollar amounts are replaced by a reference to ORS 656.745(2).
