Got some emails tonight stating that someone had logged in, then requested a email address change and then proceeded to do whatever - don’t know as I can’t access the account. What is the usual turnaround for responses?

My account was hacked more than 24 hours, the hacker changed my password and then changed my email address. As a result I submitted this ticket ID but have no way of following up on it because I submitted it without being logged in - Ticket ID: US101566603.

12 Μαρ 2022 · Reply. AlcatorSK. • 2 yr. ago. Most likely: You used the same email and password combination on Battlenet as you did on some other service, and that other service was compromised and the account database stolen.
5 Μαΐ 2020 · Consider using a new email address you only use for battle net. Once you have the ticket in, the recovery could take a few days due to the current pandemic situation. Beware that it’s possible a temporary suspension may be added to the account.
6 Αυγ 2020 · Likely the quickest way, is to create a new email address (Gmail or the likes thereof), then a new Bnet using that new email address, open a ticket from there detailing all the account information you have for the hacked account along with a scan of some ID to prove you are the account holder.
