You cannot transfer a character if you have a pending Great Vault reward; You can transfer a character from a realm to another once every 72 hours. However, if you transfer a character from one account to another, you can perform subsequent transfers (whether to another account or to a new realm) only after 30 days
Below is the list of restrictions for this service. The Character Transfer service allows you to move characters to other realms, or different World of Warcraft accounts. It is not possible to transfer a character between World of Warcraft, WoW Classic Era, and WoW Classic Progression.
23 Μαΐ 2021 · WoW Classic transfer cap is 2k. TBC Classic transfer cap is 5k. From level 51-69 the gold transfer limit is 2,000g and for level 70 characters the cap is 5,000g. For a short time following pre-patch, the caps were not being correctly enforced for their level ranges.

22 Ιουν 2022 · In specific, the announced changes were: You can now have more than 10 characters per server. This limit is instead changed to 50 characters per account, just like on Retail WoW. You can now have both Alliance & Horde characters at the same time on PvP servers. You can now transfer characters on normal servers, to PvP servers.
I've been wanting to transfer servers but just noticed the cap to transfer gold on a level 70 is 5k gold. Are there people who transfer characters with large amounts of gold managing to bring their wealth to other servers?
22 Ιουλ 2022 · Can you move multiple from a free transfer server? You can, if there’s free transfer, move as many as you have, one at a time. Also to what servers can you free transfer to if free transfer is available on your server?
