The PATCH system allows users to request criminal history background checks online. PSP established the Pennsylvania Access to Criminal History, or PATCH, for agencies, companies, and others to request criminal background checks on individuals.
The Pennsylvania State Police established a web-based computer application called "Pennsylvania Access to Criminal History" or PATCH. Using this system, a requestor can apply for a criminal background check on an individual basis.
To perform a search on a record check request you must enter in all the data exactly as it was entered for the original record check request. if a middle name was entered on the original request the you must enter the name exactly.
