With a laptop, phone, or tablet that’s connected to your network, open a web browser and go to the Admin Tool at http://10.0.0.1. If you’ve already changed your Admin Tool ID and password, log in with your information. Then go to the steps to change your network name and password.
I'm trying to set up port forwarding, but the Xfinity ID username/password combination gives me an "incorrect user name" error. Xfinity ID + router password doesn't work either.
18 Ιαν 2020 · If you have an xFi Gateway, port forwarding is no longer supported through 10.0.0.1, instead, we recommend that you use xFi. My recommendation would be to log into 10.0.0.1 and undo any device/static IP settings that you may have put in place to set up the port forward.
9 Μαρ 2024 · replaced my xp7 comcast router and setup was going well (changed SSID, strong passwords for 2.5 and 5GHz bands and for the admin pword at 10.0.0.1... until i noticed an unknown MAC address / IP. then as i checked port forwarding (that I didn't setup it shows this)

Open a web browser and enter the router's IP address in the address bar (usually 10.0.0.1 or 192.168.1.1)
