29 Ιουν 2020 · If you're reading this and you're unsure, I totally recommend the Xulane patch! I keep mine on my lower abdomen, and I put a clear Nexcare Tegaderm on top of my patch (lasts up to 7 days, no issue) to secure it and give me peace of mind.
I was researching the Xulane patch and was ready to start it today, but when I picked it up and came home, it was Zafemy. Most of the reviews I saw were bad for the Zafemy brand so now I’m scare. I have no choice now, but to try it out.

For me, Xulane was the first birth control Id experienced in 2021. I was only on the patch for a month. Everything was alright with your usual nausea and sore breasts side effects, except the Bleeding I did for a whole month. After applying my 4th patch, however, i woke up in the middle of the night in a cold sweat with my heart and head drumming.
The patch can be placed on the upper arm, abdomen, back, or butt for up to one week. You do this for 3 weeks and then have a patch-free week during which you get your period. If you want to skip your period, you can just start a new box of patches that week.
