I am no longer on the patches that I used and haven't been since the end of August 2022 (my partner got a vasectomy and we use condoms). I have been on 2 different patches, Xulane and Zafemy for about 3 years. Here are my experiences with each one. Xulane: 2019 - 2021.
For me, Xulane was the first birth control Id experienced in 2021. I was only on the patch for a month. Everything was alright with your usual nausea and sore breasts side effects, except the Bleeding I did for a whole month. After applying my 4th patch, however, i woke up in the middle of the night in a cold sweat with my heart and head drumming.

29 Ιουν 2020 · If you're reading this and you're unsure, I totally recommend the Xulane patch! I keep mine on my lower abdomen, and I put a clear Nexcare Tegaderm on top of my patch (lasts up to 7 days, no issue) to secure it and give me peace of mind.
Great review! I loved the Xulane patch so much. Unfortunately for me it had the side effect of bonkers moods swings, to the point of seriously interfering with my life. Now I’m back to heavy periods and cramps every month. You win some, you lose some.
