I found a solution (involving what you kindly shared) that only involves a few steps: Open app again and then log out (3 small bars in the top left). Log back in and try downloading again. This is what worked for me and was really straightforward.

Although it tells you to install the ea app. Ignore it and just let the games download in the background on origin. Make sure EA is not running in the background. Once the games are done downloading end task for origin and go back to EA.
