10 Δεκ 2017 · It's now one if the best sounding acoustics I have ever played. I have read that the FG series from the 70's had laminate tops, but the luthier told me that the spruce top to my FG-345 is, in fact, solid, showing me how the grain is consistent through the top.

22 Φεβ 2007 · Quick Opinion: The Yamaha F line of acoustic guitars is affordable, seriously consistent in their build quality, and generally a good choice when purchasing a budget all-around acoustic. The F345, in particular, is exceptionally warm-sounding, and is extremely well-built.
24 Μαΐ 2010 · I sought out the F 345 and gave the F's 335 and 325 a try, along with the FG 700, 730, and the FS 720. I think it's comparable to an FG model, though it comes up short in battles of overall tonal fullness and sustain.
30 Μαρ 2023 · Traditional Western body style (FG Series) has the nuanced tone of a full-size dreadnought, while the concert body of the FS delivers classic folk sound and is well-suited to fingerpicking. Each FG/FS Series model is a great value.
4 Δεκ 2010 · Both models are exceptional and compare very favorably with the much-sought-after FG-180, but at a much lower price (almost half). I would also recommend some of the mid- to late-70s Taiwan models such as FG-335, FG-340 and FG-345.
