Yard waste — such as grass clippings, leaves and branches — is a valuable resource that can add nutrients back into your yard or be recycled into compost. It is illegal to put yard waste in your household garbage. Options for managing yard waste are listed below.
Yard waste should NOT be put in your garbage cart! Instead, Saint Paul residents have three options: Contact your garbage hauler for details on how to schedule a pickup. Utilize one of the seven Ramsey County Yard Waste Drop-off Sites. All sites are free and open to Ramsey County residents. A photo ID is required.
