The yodelling choirs, alphorn players and flag throwers are looking forward to the 32rd Swiss Yodelling Festival 2026 in Basel. Conviviality is a key element of the festival. The “yodellers’ village” will be on Petersplatz, next to the main University building.
For the first time since 1924, a Federal Yodelling Festival is to be held in Basel in the summer of 2026. In addition to around 1,000 judging performances in the categories of yodeling, alphorn blowing and flag waving, the focus at a Federal Yodeling Festival is always on socializing.
