The ZMB Vice Province comprises 4 countries namely: Zambia, Zimbabwe, Malawi and Namibia. These four countries are in the southern part of Africa. The Vice Province is animated by the Provincial Superior with the help of Councilors and organized through Commissions.
Here are the recognized Zambian Government Colleges meeting the following selection criteria by MOHE: being accredited, licensed and/or chartered by the appropriate Zambian Higher Education-related organization.
31 Μαΐ 2021 · Also, the Salesian mission is growing in many ways: a first street children project in Zambia, six new secondary schools (2 of them started in 2021), the relaunching of the SYM in each of 14 Oratories and the fast-growing Association of Salesian Cooperators (11 centers with 265 promised members).
PROVINCE. The first Salesians arrived in Zambia in 1982. At present, we work in four countries: Zambia, Zimbabwe, Malawi and Namibia. In 2012 we celebrated the 30th Jubilee of the Salesian presence in ZMB. Please find more information under “Organization”.
On 26 th April 1998, the first Zambian Salesian Priest, Fr. Clement Mulenga was ordained in Luwingu. In 1999, ZMB became the Vice Province and the journey is continuing till now.
Focus 2021. Rundu - ZMB 16-05-2021. Don Bosco is becoming Namibian in Rundu. (Rundu, Namibia) The Namibian week (April 21-April 27) of the Extraordinary Visitation of the ZMB Vice Province (February-May 2021) was a true Salesian spirit celebration.
