5 Φεβ 2024 · 2-Gun Action Challenge is a multi-gun (pistol and rifle) competition that combines shooting marksmanship with appropriate physical challenges for the shooters. Round counts are typically low for a ‘2-gun’ style match, generally in the range of 30-40 pistol rounds and 30-40 rifle rounds for a 4 stage match.
The Proving Grounds is a physical 2-gun match that tests the competitor’s marksmanship ability while under stress. Competitors will carry objects of varying sizes and weights, negotiate obstacles, and engage targets from 1 to 500 yards. 4 stage. 70% shooting, 30% fitness.
In 2024, PCSL only has plans so far to run our flagship major event, the 2024 PCSL 2-Gun National Championship. However, other PCSL major events are starting to pop up all around the country run by clubs who are enjoying the format we offer, but are not yet affiliated with the PCSL organization.

The largest rule sets for modern multigun are 3-Gun Nation and USPSA Multigun, but there are also many other rules used at local ranges or that are particular to a single large match or group of matches.
2-Gun Rimfire competitions are designed to be fun and safe shooting matches for the entire family. Incorporating both .22 LR pistols and rifles, courses of fire are created with safety as the top priority, but feature fun scenarios that meet any shooter’s skill level.
