Like seriously we need a part 3. Continue the sequel. What in the world is Warner bros doing? There should be no way that they don’t have a third 300 movie by now. It’s been ten long years like come on. We’ve been waiting for ages now. Give the fans what they want. I wonder if some kind of petition would get them motivated to finally do it.
I watched the movie "300" many times the first year it came out (2006), but I don't recall them saying Queen Gorgo's name much, or maybe I just easily forget names. Then 10 years later, I'm playing as Gorgo, and just assumed she was a great leader of Greece at some point in history.
The story is simple. The plot is simple. The characters are simple. Despite all of this, I will say with complete confidence that 300 is one of my favorite movies of all time. Easily one of Snyder's best films, the cinematography lifts the rest of the movie up on a pedestal. This movie is not style over substance, it's style elevating substance.
21 Μαρ 2023 · I just watched 300 for the first time yesterday (fantastic filmmaking, by the way). I understand that it is historical fantasy, and that obviously Persians don’t look like that, but was thrown off by the fantastical appearance of some of the soldiers (namely the giant and then the Sabbatic goat playing an instrument).

17 Ιαν 2021 · He isn't the best at storytelling. I was aware that the movie 300 was based off of the graphic novel. I'm also aware of the story of the Spartans. I think the reason 300 worked the way it did was because Snyder had the graphic novel as source material. I too like Man Of Steel.
18 Ιουν 2023 · 300 is a pretty good graphic novel whose visual style is captured in the movie. GoF is one of the finer pieces of historical fiction I have ever read. Pressfield weaves the story so tightly and beautifully, tying the threads of history and fiction together to the point you don't know which is which. The characters are unforgettable, the book sings.
21 Ιουν 2022 · I personally think that 300 is a shitty movie. I understand that it's supposed to be historical fiction, and not an accurate representation of the battle of Thermopylae. But dispite that, the movie just comes of as completely over the top and obnoxious.
