Image posts must either feature 3D content, or have obvious context related to 3D. When posting 3D artwork that could reasonably be mistaken for a non-3D image (e.g., photorealism, certain NPR styles, etc.), it is a good idea to include a clay or wireframe render to prevent your image from being removed by mistake.

i found this cool tool called 3d ai studio. it lets you make 3d models from text or images and it's free. the quality really surprised me and it's saved me so much time, especially for those background characters. i used it to 3d print a few custom 3d things i wanted to print for a long time. here's the link: 3D AI Studio.
3 Ιαν 2022 · Same art principles apply to all.of them but pixel is less demanding in terms of mechanical skill. I would say pixel art. But ..... a no talent hack can just do vector art through Inkscape. Thats my recommendation: 2d vector art, Followed by pixel art, then 2d art then 3d art.

Indeed. When I started out as a 3d Artist I had to take a job that paid less than a McDonald's job - this was after months of unemployment. Getting that foot into the door was important, and I learned that the industry is competitive and at times very harsh - and that 3d Art in particular is -very- competitive as you need momentum.
31 Δεκ 2021 · Love playing with stuff like this. It might be worth your time to look into SLIC super-pixels for creating the low-res render instead -- imo it really helps mitigate the jittery pixels that instantly give away procedural pixel art.
23 Οκτ 2023 · However it's a much lower entry point with a wealth of jobs available (it's much cheaper and faster to make lowpoly 3d art for a mobile game than thousands of PBR assets for the new Spiderman), and as a stylized lowpoly artist with several years in the game industry, imo a lot easier to find jobs if you have a good skillset.
